Frances Xavier Cabrini: Episode Two

Mother Cabrini demonstrates great courage, overcoming her fear of water and even her desire for missionary work in China in order to become a missionary to the United States. She remains as a moment of courage when her sisters cannot be, giving them an example of love and service to their missionary work in spite of dreadful circumstances.  

This episode contains moments of intensity and danger, including arguments and raised voices. Cabrini’s near-drowning is mentioned. The Sisters are not welcomed by the bishop and spend a night in a dangerous tenement on the famous “murder-a-night” street.
