What’s your name and where are you from?
My name is Kevin Conroy and I am from the suburbs of Chicago.
What is your role at The Merry Beggars?
I serve as the Audio Director for The Merry Beggars. I lead our Post-Production team and all things sound.
How did you join The Merry Beggars team?
In 2021, The Merry Beggars was acquired by Relevant Radio. I assisted The Merry Beggars by producing the last 6 episodes of The Quarantine Plays, before joining full-time as Lead Audio Producer. As Audio Director, I have recruited, managed, and led the Post-Production team through A Christas Carol, On The Night Train, and The Saints.
What is something no one knows about you?
I still get sad thinking about Derrick Rose’s injuries and the championship runs that could have been.
What is the favorite project you have worked on at The Merry Beggars?
The Saints. Being able to give life to so many of our Saints in an audio format is a joy. This in combination with covering several genres, time periods, and stories keeps things fresh, challenging, and entertaining at the same time.

It’s a fast-paced, and intense work environment with a highly passionate and creative team. We strive for excellence and keep Christ at the center of everything we do.
