A six-month residency program for Catholic playwrights to create new scripts, workshop them with professional actors, and produce them throughout the United States.

The Residency


Month 1-3

  • An initial support of $3,000

  • Pairing you with an established playwright to assist your writing process

  • 2-Week Writing Retreat (We’ll choose the location depending on your project!)

  • Weekly check-in phone call: goal setting, workshopping sections of scripts, etc.

Month 4

  • Continuing support of $1,000

  • First in-person Workshop reading with professional actors

  • Guided feedback session on script

Month 5

  • Continuing support of $1,000

  • Second in-person Workshop reading with professional actors

  • Guided feedback session on script

Month 6

  • Continuing support of $1,000

  • Final in-person Workshop reading with professional actors

  • Pitching your script to theaters in the New York, Washington, D.C., and other areas

  • Pitching your script to Catholic high schools and colleges throughout the United States
